Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
The Video Editor will be responsible for editing high-quality real estate content for social media, property marketing, and brand-building campaigns. We're looking for someone who understands the fast-paced nature of real estate marketing and can create engaging, professional content that stands out.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Edit high-quality real estate videos for residential, builder, and commercial properties using Final Cut Pro or DaVinci ResolveCreate engaging social media content, including vertical videos for platforms like Instagram, using Instagram tools and trends as referenceWork on a variety of video packages (Budget, Budget Plus, Standard, Prestige)Manage projects and track tasks using ClickUpCollaborate with the Director on property walkthrough and feature videosApply client feedback and deliver revisions accurately and efficientlySource licensed music that matches project style and client preferencesTransform existing footage into engaging social media-ready contentMaintain and organize video assets and stock librariesFollow established style guides and sample references to ensure consistencyWork closely with videographers to ensure smooth project executionRequirements
Must-have Skills / Qualification:
Proven experience editing videos for the real estate, architecture or commercial marketing industries.Preferably 2–3 years of video editing experienceStrong proficiency in any of the video editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent).Excellent color grading and color correction skillsAbility to create engaging short-form and long-form video contentStrong attention to detail with a strong sense of storytellingCreative mindset with an eye for modern social media trendsExperience producing content for agents, property listings, or real estate brandsAbility to take raw footage and turn it into polished, professional contentExperience working with fast-paced content delivery and tight deadlinesAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesProactive communicator who can collaborate during business hours when requiredReliable internet connection and strong communication skillsProfessional, adaptable, and easy to work with.Motion graphics / After Effects experience is a plus
