Primary Responsibilities Include
Meet and exceed budgeted revenues in Groups and Banqueting as per the annual budget. Manage all group and event enquiries from the initial proposal to follow up, contracting and carrying out site inspections to achieve high conversion rates. Effectively manage a portfolio of key assigned accounts through planned sales activities, maximising account potential in terms of rate, room-nights and events in accordance with overall sales strategies. Focus on the growth and continued production of existing assigned group and event accounts, both domestic and international. Proactively search for new business opportunities and drive new leads. Coordinate all aspects of events, from initial inquiries and contract negotiations to on-site execution and post-event follow-up. Manage the banqueting budget and provide accurate forecasts to ensure financial targets are met. Ensure effective communication with other hotel departments to enable smooth operation of in-house groups and functions. Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and client preferences to develop effective sales and marketing strategies.
