The Bartender is responsible for creating high-quality beverages and delivering an engaging and welcoming bar experience. This role plays a key part in guest satisfaction by combining product knowledge, creativity, and excellent service while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and brand standards.Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive bar experience.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and storage spaces.Ensure proper handling, storage, and stock control of bar supplies.Recommend beverages, promote specials, and upsell where appropriate.Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.Comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.Monitor guest consumption and act responsibly in line with alcohol service policies.Support bar setup for events and special functions. Previous experience as a Bartender in a hotel or restaurant environment is preferred.Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar service techniques.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Professional appearance and positive attitude.Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.Knowledge of POS systems is an advantage.
