About this role
As a member of our process design and digitalization team in Tires R&D, you will play a crucial role in defining and implementing digital workflows into our IT Product & Specification Lifecycle Management systems. By this you are contributing to shape our internal product and technology development processes in strong collaboration with several stakeholders and support the R&D organization with impactful solutions.
Main responsibilities:
Requirement engineering: Elicit, analyze, and validate business requirements to gain a detailed and aligned understanding;Solution design: Translate business requirements concerning digitalization into efficient technical requirements and scalable IT solutions within the R&D system landscape;Process and workflow optimization: Analyze business processes and ensure workflow harmonization of target requirements across stakeholders during the concept phase;Testing & release coordination: Support planning, coordination and documentation of release testing activities to ensure solution quality and readiness;Continuous improvement: Identify improvement opportunities in existing processes and drive sustainable optimization measures;Stakeholder management: Act as central point of contact for R&D IT and business stakeholders and ensure alignment across all parties; Academic degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Natural Sciences, or other related field;Strong interest in driving digitalization topics, resilience and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders;Self-motivated and result oriented team player who enjoys working in multicultural, performance and target oriented groups;Proficient in tackling loosely defined problems and delivering relevant answers and impactful insights;Strong stakeholder focus, willing to learn, to act and to take responsibility;Experience in project management and tools is beneficial;Knowledge of programming language(s) is beneficial;First professional experience in an R&D environment within a global organization (desirable);Proficiency in English language (written / verbal);Very good communication and networking skills.
