Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer with strong expertise in Java and AWS to design, build, and scale modern cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in microservices architecture, AI-driven automation, and building highly scalable systems using AWS services.
You will play a key role in designing robust backend systems, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and mentoring junior developers.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable backend services using JavaBuild and deploy cloud-native applications on AWSDevelop and manage microservices-based architecturesDesign and implement APIs and integrate with third-party servicesWork with AWS services such as:AWS LambdaECS / EC2 / EKSRDS / DynamoDBImplement AI-based automation solutions to improve system efficiency and workflowsEnsure application performance, scalability, and securityCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, DevOps, Data Engineering)Drive best practices in code quality, CI/CD, and architecture designTroubleshoot production issues and optimize application performanceRequired Skills & Qualifications
5–8 years of hands-on experience in software developmentStrong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot preferred)Solid experience with AWS cloud ecosystemExperience in:working with AWS tools - AWS lambda, AWS API-Gateway, AWS Load Balancer, AWS cloudwatch, AWS CLI Container orchestration (ECS / EKS / EC2)Strong understanding of microservices architecture & RESTful APIsExperience with either of the database technologies:Relational (AWS RDS) NoSQL (DynamoDB)Working knowledge of system design, scalability, and distributed systemsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesGood to Have Skills
Hands-on experience with:PythonPySparkAWS EMR / AWS GlueTerraform (Infrastructure as Code)Exposure to data engineering pipelines and big data processingSoft Skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
