Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Automation QA Engineer with strong experience in AWS environments, REST API automation, and UI testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust automation frameworks, ensuring application quality across microservices-based systems, and contributing to scalable test strategies.
Experience in Playwright and modern automation tools is essential, along with a strong understanding of cloud-native applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks for web applications and APIsPerform end-to-end testing across UI, backend, and integrated systemsDevelop and execute REST API automation test suitesImplement UI automation using tools like PlaywrightWork in AWS-based environments to validate cloud-native applicationsCollaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams in an Agile environmentValidate data integrity across services and integrationsParticipate in CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testingIdentify, document, and track defects effectivelyEnsure high standards of test coverage, performance, and securityRequired Skills & Qualifications
4–8 years of experience in Automation TestingStrong hands-on experience in:REST API Automation TestingUI Automation TestingProficiency with Playwright (preferred) or similar tools (Selenium, Cypress)Experience with automation scripting languages such as:JavaScript / TypeScriptJava or PythonSolid understanding of software testing concepts and QA methodologiesExperience working in AWS cloud environmentsFamiliarity with:Microservices architectureCI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)Strong debugging and analytical skillsGood to Have Skills
Experience in ETL/data pipeline testingExposure to PySpark-based data validationFamiliarity with:AWS data services (S3, Glue, EMR)Knowledge of database testing (SQL/NoSQL)Experience with performance or load testing toolsUnderstanding of test data management and data validation strategiesSoft Skills
Strong problem-solving mindsetExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and in fast-paced teamsAttention to detail and quality-driven approach
