We have an exciting opportunity in the School of Architecture and Landscape to appoint an Operations Manager. We are seeking a professional and organised individual to join our professional services team.
As Operations Manager, you will work closely with the School Manager to lead a wide range of operational support activities which are crucial to the efficient and effective running of the School, ensuring compliance with University regulations and legislation where relevant. You will manage the operations team and the broad range of activity they cover including Executive support, HR and staffing, estates, health and safety, business continuity, and where applicable, reception services. It is essential that the post-holder has strong communication skills, has excellent organisational and problem-solving skills and is able to lead, develop and motivate a team.
The ideal candidate will be highly computer literate with a good honours degree or equivalent experience. You will have a proven ability to work effectively, provide solutions to problems and achieve objectives. You will be adaptable, well-motivated and enthusiastic, staying updated on new developments in areas relevant to your main responsibilities and will also be an excellent team player.
