Learning Support Assistant
Initially 26 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (includes 5 training days) To start September 2026
Pay Scale TA1 LEAD NJC Point 3-7 (£25615- £27275 FTE Starting Salary) Actual Salary £15528
We are looking for a confident Learning Support Assistant to support our SEND children who need additional support.
This role is temporary initially until 31st August 2027.
We will require a practitioner who is able to:
support pupils to overcome challenges and barriers to learning work collaboratively with the class teacher , SENDCO and the children’s parentsattend review meetings and meet targets set within the Educational Health Care Plansupport pupils both inside and outside the classroom to facilitate positive social interaction with peers. have good communication skills and the ability to listen to the views of the children work with multiple agencies where appropriate to fully support children’s needs. have very high expectations of all pupils and be a good team contributor.
