Truro and Penwith Academy Trust alongside Mounts Bay Academy, are recruiting for a Safeguarding Officer to join their team.
In this role, you will work closely with the Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to provide vital administrative support and assist in addressing safeguarding concerns with urgency and efficiency. Acting as a key point of contact, you will also collaborate with the Trust’s Safeguarding Lead as required, ensuring that all actions strictly align with the statutory guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education and established child protection policies. Given that duties are tailored to the specific size and needs of the school's safeguarding team, the role demands flexibility; you will undertake varied tasks as determined by the DSL, ensuring all responsibilities remain consistent with the overarching mission of keeping children safe.
