Key Responsibilities
Lead on the school’s financial management, including budgeting, monitoring and reporting Manage HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding and staff records Oversee administrative systems and ensure efficient daily operations Coordinate premises management, health and safety, and statutory compliance Manage contracts and service providers, ensuring value for money Support strategic planning and contribute to school improvement priorities Ensure policies and procedures are up to date and implemented effectively
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Is a strategic thinker who leads by example – setting high standards for themselves and others Is passionate about making a difference to the life chances of our children Has experience in financial management (school experience desirable but not essential) Is highly organised with strong attention to detail Can work independently with initiative and is calm in a busy, working environment Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills Has a comprehensive understanding of IT systems and management software Has a flexible, solution-focused approach Can demonstrate an ongoing commitment to their professional development
A background in education or public sector administration would be advantageous but is not essential.
