COVER SUPERVISOR
31.25 hours per week - 39 weeks per year
Salary range Grade G Point 8 to 12 (£26,824 - £28,598)
Actual Salary - £19,473 - £20,761
We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our cover team. This role would be perfect for someone who is interested in learning more about becoming a teacher, and would provide excellent experience. We will provide additional training and many of our previous supervisors have gone on to other roles in education.

The Cover Supervisor will:
Supervise and support students in a mainstream classroom and work across all subject areas. Liaise with subject teaching staff regarding work set Liaise with the Cover Manager Record student attendance Follow the school’s Positive Behaviour Policy to successfully implement a good working atmosphere and build a positive rapport with students in the classroom At MSSC, we know that our staff are our most valuable resource. Moulton School is a successful, popular and over-subscribed school on the northern boundary of Northampton. The DSP at MSSC opened in January 2024 and is a warm and welcoming space for up to 30 students, providing an enhanced mainstream provision for students who have an EHCP with specific Autism related needs. Students will have timetables which enables them to access a mainstream curriculum that is supplemented with tailored lessons and planned interventions.
MSSC was graded Good in its last two Ofsted inspections, and there is a strong commitment to further improvement based on effective teaching and learning and high expectations of students.
