We are looking for a dedicated, highly motivated and computer literate individual to join our Administration Team at The Countess of Chester Hospital.
We would welcome applications from experienced Administrators who are used to working autonomously, have a strong work ethic, a flexible approach and the ability to problem solve.
Whilst the primary objective of the post is to provide support to the Radiology Department at The Countess of Chester Hospital, full flexibility is required. This includes working as part of a team covering peaks of workload and emergency backfill to support the wider Department, including Ellesmere port hospital as required.

Main duties of the job
To undertake a full range of reception/clerical responsibilities Monitor, schedule and amend patient appointments following the clinical guidelines provided and adhering to the Trust Access Policy / Patient Pathway guidelines. Good communication skills are essential as the post holder will need to liaise directly with patients, consultants and other hospital staff. A working knowledge of general office procedures and Microsoft packages is required, but full training will be provided in the use of Cerner and Medisec software. Medical terminology would be an advantage. Flexibility is required to work as part of a team covering peaks of workload and emergency cover to support the whole Department as required.
