Are you seeking a development opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in Acquired Brain Injury? We are expanding our interdisciplinary therapy team and looking for a creative, reflective and enthusiastic Occupational therapist to join us. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with an interest in Acquired Brain Injury/Stroke looking to develop their skills and career in this specialist and enormously rewarding area. You will be joining our team of experienced and enthusiastic occupational therapists to deliver to deliver bespoke rehabilitation programmes including support to help people back to work (vocational rehabilitation) Icanho is a non-residential highly specialist community- based brain injury service with its main base in Stowmarket Suffolk operating Monday to Friday (within 45 minutes drive of Cambridge or Colchester and 20 minutes away from Ipswich or Bury St Edmunds), and a satellite service in Bungay open 2 days a week. Working Hours: Full time or job share (Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30)
Salary:
£38,458 to £43,448.49 dependant on experience
Location: Suffolk working with clients at Icanho and in the community.

Job description Job responsibilities
Purpose of the Job To provide specialist Occupational Therapy (OT) assessment and intervention for rehabilitation of clients, including support to return to work/study (vocational rehabilitation) following acquired brain injury (ABI). To work with carers/families as appropriate. To support and participate in the evaluation, development and integration of evidence-based practice [including relevant technology] within the OT department and wider Service.

Qualifications Essential
Education: Professional OT qualification HCPC registration Evidence of CPD Experience: 2 years qualified exp of working with adults inc some experience working in ABI/neurology Experience of neuro-OT assessment and treatment of clients with ABI inc Stroke. Experience of Team working Knowledge of ABI Vocational rehabilitation Experience of supervising others Participation in audit /service improvement. Use of technology in relation to OT after ABI
