ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as a Registered Nurse will be to act as person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observe all instructions to act upon his/her behalf whilst you ensure high standards of care to our residents.

Main duties of the job As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare in Purley, your primary role will involve acting as the person in charge and standing in for the manager when necessary. You will ensure high standards of care for residents, undertake nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and managing chronic conditions. Additionally, you will advise families and GPs about changes in resident conditions, ensure effective staff deployment and supervision, and provide high standards of care through accurate assessment and planning. The position requires a First Level qualification, current NMC Registration, and a minimum of two years of experience. ABOUT THE ROLE

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

Undertakingnursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions. Advisingfamilies of residents andGPsof any changes in condition, which gives rise to concern and keeps them informed and involved in choices for ongoing care. Responsibilityfor the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive required care. Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessment and planning.

Qualifications Essential
