You will deputise for the Registered Manager, attending internal and external meetings with key stakeholders. As Deputy Manager, youll play a key role in ensuring the service's success while supporting the development of high-quality, bespoke care pathways. Required qualifications include a relevant Clinical qualification and professional registration as RNMH or RNLD. Several years of senior management experience in mental health or learning disabilities settings are essential. Management and leadership training evidence is required, with a willingness to complete internal leadership training. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as is experience managing teams and creating a positive work environment.

Ability to deal with multiple issues simultaneously in a highly dynamic environment. Awareness of the wider Healthcare economy and political environment A detailed understanding of statutory regulations Ability to oversee and deliver site projects. Experience in a mental health setting Knowledge and understanding of regulatory processes and the CQC. Up-to-date knowledge of legislation related to the patient group. Audit and Compliance experience within a clinical setting. Where you will be working:

Service users may also have unstable epilepsy, profound and multiple communication difficulties, sensory impairments and physical health problems.

You will be providing care to people who are currently living in the community, such as the family home or supported living but require more structured care and support, as well as those who are transitioning out of residential schools and require ongoing care and support.
