We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Clinical Lead to join our Primary Care Team at HMP Thorn Cross.
HMP Thorn Cross is a Category D / open prison in Appleton Thorn, Warrington, housing around 430 males.
HMP Thorn Cross offers: Onsite parking Career and Development opportunities Onsite gym Staff canteen Hours 37.5 hours per week over 4 days Weekdays 7.30am - 5.30pm Weekends 07.15am - 12.00pm Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary of between £51,643 - £58,012 per annum depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Primary Care Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will
Provide clinical leadership and management to the registered nurses and care teams. Work closely with partners to maintain a robust, high quality clinical service for patients. Ensure that own clinical practice is consistent with autonomous practice within the role. Model a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication and competence. Coach, line manage and develop clinician staff; support and contribute in undertaking audits and governance and contribute to developing and reviewing clinical/non clinical Local Operating Protocols for the site. Qualifications & Experience required Registered Nurse Adult Current professional qualification (NMC) Working at Senior Nurse level Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working A non-judgmental and compassionate approach Existing line management experience and student nurse mentorship Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
