We're excited to be recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team.
We're looking for someone who is a part CCAB qualified Accounting Member or equivalent with the ability and drive to deliver high-quality management accounting work.

Main duties of the job
The Assistant Management Accountant will support both the Senior Management Accountant and Senior Finance Business Partners, acting as the main point of contact for several Directorates and ensuring that financial reporting systems and processes are efficient and effective. The role requires a commitment to personal development and study, alongside delivering high-quality financial reports in a timely manner.
The main duties of the job will be:
o The production of accurate and timely financial information, including monthly performance reports and analyses and detailed forecasting.o Providing proactive and responsive support to stakeholders across several Directorates as well as colleagues in the Finance team.o Designing and maintaining systems and reporting tools, including those that enable accurate tracking and forecasting.o Leading regular meetings with budget holders to review their financial position and outturn, where necessary advising on the causes and possible options to assist budget holders in managing their position.o To build and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships throughout the Institute and with stakeholders.

Person Specification
Education/Qualifications Essential
Part CCAB/CIMA qualified Accounting Member, or relevant Degree, or evidence of equivalent accounting experience; and studying or wanting to study towards a professional accounting qualification.
Experience Essential
Previous experience of working in a finance role, including experience of providing budgetary support to non finance staff.
Skills/Knowledge Essential
Ability to communicate confidently with individuals at all levels both within and outside the organisation, using the appropriate use of tact and persuasive skills as appropriate.
