About this role

Job summary

Join our Urology Administration team and play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their care journey. In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and booking appointments, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for our urology patients.

We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. You will work closely with administrative, nursing and medical colleagues to deliver a high-quality, responsive and compassionate service to every patient.

Key responsibilities include managing clinic bookings, maintaining waiting lists and supporting the team to meet referral-to-treatment, diagnostic and cancer performance targets. Your contribution will directly impact patient experience and help deliver timely care.

Main duties of the job

Provide general non-clinical advice regarding outpatient appointments to patients and their carers. Receive and make calls, in a professional and courteous manner, making and relaying messages. Ensure patient referral information is entered accurately into the Trusts computer system Maximise clinic and booking appointments and maintain accurate waiting lists, including to be scheduled list(s) Ensure patients receive all appropriate accurate and up to date information leaflets Supply data for weekly performance meetings To cross-cover as required in event of absence of colleagues.
