We are seeking an enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our friendly, forward-thinking practice for 4 - 6 sessions per week.
We are a seven-partner dispensing practice serving 16,000 patients across three modern, purpose-built sites. As a well-established training practice, we support GP trainees, medical students and nursing students, and work within a dedicated multidisciplinary team. We are proud of our high QOF achievement and Green CQC rating.
We are looking for a GP who enjoys collaborative working, values partnership-led general practice, and is keen to contribute to the future of primary care.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred care across our three practice sites as part of our multidisciplinary team, including
Undertaking face-to-face, telephone consultations and home visits.
Assessing, diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
Managing clinical correspondence, prescriptions, test results and other administrative tasks associated with patient care.
Providing continuity of care and promoting preventative health interventions.
Working collaboratively with practice clinicians, allied health professionals and community teams.
Contributing to the teaching and support of GP trainees and other learners where appropriate.
Participating in practice meetings, clinical governance and quality improvement activities.
Supporting the ongoing development of innovative and sustainable primary care services.

The following are the core responsibilities of a Salaried GP. There may, on occasion, be a requirement to undertake other duties, dependent upon workload, staffing levels, and service needs
- Deliver highly effective medical care to the entitled practice population.
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients presenting with acute and long-term conditions.
- Prescribe safely and cost-effectively, adhering to local and national prescribing guidance.
- Effectively manage long-term conditions and promote preventative healthcare.
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
- Process clinical administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescriptions, and clinical correspondence.
- Adhere to best practice through national and local clinical guidelines, quality standards, and audit processes.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement activities, appraisal, and continuing professional development.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
- Qualified GP with MRCGP, CCT (or equivalent JCPTGP-recognised qualification). - Full GMC registration with license to practice. - Inclusion on the NHS England National Performers List. - Appropriate medical defense indemnity (MPS, MDU, or MDDUS). - Evidence of current appraisal and revalidation. - Eligibility to practice independently in the UK.
Experience Essential
- Experience of working in a primary care environment. - Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development (CPD). - Experience of QOF, clinical audit, and quality improvement activities. - Experience of medicines management and safe prescribing. - Understanding of primary care contracts and NHS general practice. - Excellent clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with an experienced GP
