ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Other responsibilities will include: Monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met, and written records are amended to reflect any variation.

Main duties of the job As a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you'll play a vital role in supporting our care team to deliver exceptional personal care to residents. Your responsibilities will include monitoring residents' wellbeing, assisting with care planning and evaluations, supporting medication requirements, and supervising and developing staff. You'll act as a key contact for residents, their families, and health professionals to ensure all requests and concerns are addressed. Our ideal candidate will embody values of caring, honesty, and respect, and possess an NVQ 3 in care alongside 2 years of relevant experience. You'll demonstrate effective communication skills and a flexible, positive attitude.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Senior Care Assistant will be tosupportand work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive, andinclusiveenvironment for residents, visitors and staff.

Other responsibilitieswillinclude:

Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation. Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations. Supporting residents with their medication requirements. Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required. Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.

Qualifications Essential
