Main duties of the job As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner at Operose Health, you will be integral in providing urgent, on-the-day care for patients with minor illnesses or injuries at the Croydon GP Hubs. Your role will involve initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care for presenting patients. You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care within the general practice. Collaboration with the general practice team and providing nurse leadership as required will be essential. The role suits an experienced nurse who meets the NMC requirements for advanced practice and is an Independent and Supplementary Prescriber. You will also be supported with CPD opportunities and benefits such as a car benefit scheme and a cycle-to-work scheme, among others.

Main Responsibilities: As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:
Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care. You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice. You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.Ideal Candidate: What we look for in new colleagues:
The post holder is an experienced nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient including initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients with undifferentiated care needs. The post holder will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process. They will work collaboratively with the Clinical Lead and the GP Hub team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required. In order to work at this level, NMC requirement for advanced practice must be met. Post holder will be an Independent and Supplementary Prescriber Package Description: How well support you:
