Are you organised, detail-oriented, and looking to launch your career in HR? We are seeking an HR Apprentice to join our growing team at Innovate ADHD, a specialist provider of ADHD assessment and treatment services.

This is a fully remote UK based role that combines real, hands-on HR experience with a fully funded Level 3 CIPD qualification (HR Support apprenticeship). It is a genuine opportunity to build the foundations of an HR career while playing an important part in keeping our people processes running smoothly.

Main duties of the job

Providing day-to-day administrative and transactional HR support across the employee lifecycle. Coordinating background checks and pre-employment vetting, including right-to-work verification and references. Supporting onboarding from offer through to first day; preparing contracts and paperwork and setting up new starters. Acting as a coordination point for candidates: scheduling interviews and liaising with hiring managers. Maintaining accurate, up-to-date HR records in line with data protection and confidentiality requirements. Responding to first-line HR queries and supporting wider HR projects as you grow into the role.Your apprenticeship

You will study towards a fully funded Level 3 CIPD qualification (HR Support) over 16 months, concluding with an End Point Assessment. You will have dedicated, protected study time each week, in line with apprenticeship requirements.

HR Apprentice (Level 3 CIPD)

Company: Innovate ADHD Ltd

Reports to: HR Business Partner Apprentice (studying CIPD Level 5)

Location: Fully remote (UK-based)

Contract: Fixed-term apprenticeship, 16 months (aligned to the Level 3 HR Support apprenticeship standard, including End Point Assessment)

Start date: July 2026 (specific date to be confirmed)

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Salary:

Months 112: £15,708.00 per annum Months 1316: the National Minimum / Living Wage rate applicable to your age band at that time.

About the role

We're looking for an organised, detail-oriented HR Apprentice to join our team and provide hands-on support across the full employee lifecycle. This is a real, working role with genuine responsibility paired with a structured Level 3 CIPD qualification.

You'll be the engine room behind our day-to-day HR operations: keeping our admin accurate, our onboarding smooth, and our hiring process moving. You'll work closely with, and report directly to, our HR Business Partner Apprentice, who will mentor you throughout your apprenticeship and help you build the foundations of a successful HR career.

As a fully remote role, you'll need to be self-motivated and comfortable managing your own workload, with regular check-ins and support built in.

What you'll be doing

Owning transactional and administrative HR tasks maintaining accurate employee records, processing changes (starters, leavers, role changes), and keeping our HR system up to date. Coordinating background checks and pre-employment vetting, including right-to-work verification, references, and DBS/screening checks where required. Supporting onboarding end to end preparing contracts and offer paperwork, setting up new starters, and making sure their first weeks run smoothly. Acting as the main point of coordination for candidates scheduling interviews, liaising with hiring managers, arranging logistics, and keeping applicants updated. Managing interview scheduling and diary coordination across multiple stakeholders. Responding to first-line HR queries from employees and managers, escalating where appropriate. Helping to keep HR data, trackers, and reporting accurate and well organised. Supporting wider HR projects and process improvements as you grow into the role. The apprenticeship

You'll study towards a Level 3 CIPD qualification (HR Support apprenticeship standard) over 16 months, alongside your day job. You'll have protected, dedicated study time each week for off-the-job training (typically around one day a week / 20% of your hours), in line with apprenticeship requirements. You'll be supported by both your training provider and your line manager, with regular reviews to track your progress. The apprenticeship concludes with an End Point Assessment, after which you'll be a qualified, CIPD-recognised HR professional. What we're looking for

Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines. Clear, professional written and verbal communication. Trustworthy and discreet comfortable handling confidential and sensitive personal information appropriately. Confident with everyday digital tools (email, calendars, spreadsheets) and quick to learn new systems. Self-motivated and reliable, with the discipline to work effectively in a fully remote setting. A genuine interest in starting a career in HR. A suitable, distraction-free home working space and a reliable internet connection. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Meets the eligibility requirements for a Level 3 apprenticeship (including right to work in the UK and residency criteria). Desirable
