About this role

Job summary

You will be a registered health professional (RMN, Dip SW, Dip OT or equivalent) with:

Significant experience in mental health practice and multi-disciplinary team working. Evidence of service development and leadership within a mental health setting. Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills. A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice. The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, upholding the Trust's values. The ability to mentor students, upholding all our codes of practice

Main duties of the job Ensure safe, effective, person-centred care is delivered Oversee caseload management and service delivery standards Monitor clinical practice and ensure adherence to guidelines/policies Respond to incidents, complaints, and safeguarding concerns Manage day-to-day running of the service Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), targets, and outcomes Ensure efficient use of resources Coordinate rotas, cover arrangements, and service capacity

Person Specification

quilifications Essential

Nursing degree or equivalent, DiP Social Worker, OT or equivalent On going professional development

Desirable

Post basic teaching qualification Higher degree or post graduate certificate in area of clinical / therapeutic practice ILM certificate in management or equivalent

Experience Essential

Able to demonstrate experience at a senior clinical level including staff management / supervision experience. Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team Evidence of providing leadership in a Mental Health care environment including service development

Desirable

Previous experience of working with Complex case management.

Skills Essential

Excellent communication skills Care planning skills. Able to effectively prioritise own work load Competent ICT skills

OTHER (Please specify) Essential

Ability to travel independently Has access to a vehicle and valid driving License

Knowledge Essential

Knowledge of medication and the monitoring of its effects. Build on / develop further knowledge of psychosocial interventions Build on / develop further specialist knowledge of health promotion and recovery An understanding of the policies and guidelines both local and national e.g. National Institute for Clinical Excellence guidelines.
