Job description Job responsibilities
As an HCA in our practice, you will play a vital role in supporting our GPs and Nursing team by performing clinical tasks, managing patient health checks, and ensuring our treatment rooms are maintained to the highest standards.
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover). We are looking for someone to work approximately 25 hours per week, with some flexibility in shift patterns available.

Qualifications Essential
Previous experience working as an HCA within a GP practice or NHS setting is highly desirable. Phlebotomy certification is essential. Experience in assisting with clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs and preparing treatment areas. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members. Strong ability to build rapport with patients, showing empathy and understanding in various situations. Meticulous in recording patient information and following protocols to ensure high quality care.
Desirable
Familiarity with SystmOne or similar medical records management is preferred.
