About this role

Job summary

The Community Neurology Service provides condition management support for over 850 clients with long-term progressive neurological conditions. The role is varied and will provide the post holder with varied neurological experience and we welcome applicants who are keen to develop in the are of neurology. You will receive ongoing support from an enthusiastic team of experienced practitioners and neurological physiotherapists.

Main duties of the job

This is a dynamic team who value everyone's contributions. The community neurology service work closely with professionals both in Dorset Health Care, Acutes , Social Services and Voluntary Sector. We welcome pre-visits to discuss the role and meet the team prior to interview.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.

Skills Ability and Knowledge Essential

Driving (has valid driving licence and access to car)

Evidence of working with neurological patients

Evidence of working at a senior level within the field of Neurology
