JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: General Practitioner ARRS Hours: 6-8 Sessions per Week Contract Fixed-Term to 31 March 2027
Reporting to: The Partners and Practice Manager
To deliver high-quality primary care services as part of the Primary Care Network (PCN), supporting improved patient access, health outcomes, and system efficiency in line with the Network Contract DES, with a focus on capacity and access
Provide a full range of GP services, including:
Face-to-face consultations Telephone and video consultations Home visits where appropriate
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
Prescribe in accordance with local and national guidelines
Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records
Support the practice using online consultation tools and Total Triage
Will include on call duties

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
Provide a full range of GP services, including:

PCN & ARRS Role-Specific Duties
Support enhanced access and same-day care provision
Contribute to:
Holistic care
QOF achievement
Structured medication reviews (where appropriate) Care of patients with complex needs
Support delivery of PCN service specifications
Multidisciplinary Working Collaborate with:
Clinical pharmacists
First contact practitioners
Social prescribing link workers
Care coordinators
Participate in MDT meetings and case discussions
Quality & Governance Maintain high standards of clinical care and safety
Participate in clinical audit, quality improvement, and significant event reviews
Comply with:
GMC standards
Practice and PCN policies
Information governance requirements

Qualifications Essential
Fully qualified GP Registered with the GMC and on the GP Performers List Experience in UK General Practice Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
