Job summary
NHFT has an exciting opportunity for an experienced or aspiring senior operational leader to join our Adult Community Services (ACS) team as an Assistant Director.
The successful candidate will be working alongside another Assistant Director and will operate under the direction and line management of the Director for Adult Community Services, to cover an agreed portfolio of adult community services across the county. You will be responsible for the operational, strategic, performance and business development of one stack of services across ACS.
Main duties of the job
You will have an excellent track record for delivering high quality innovative services and you will demonstrate an ability to influence, engage and lead others to maintain delivery of services through an ambitious programme of transformational change.
You will have demonstrable experience of managing and leading multiple teams and ensuring that the highest standards of people management, clinical quality and financial performance are delivered across operational services. You will be one of the Adult Services key links to identified commissioners and partners in the system.

Qualifications Essential
Recognised Management Qualification (or equivalent experience)
Desirable
MBA qualification (or equivalent qualification to masters level)
Knowledge & Experience Essential
Significant management and leadership experience at a senior level, with evidence of experience of managing in challenging or complex environments. Evidence of people management experience, including of leading change in organisations. Experience of delivery against KPI targets Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver to deadlines while managing competing and unpredictable demands.
