Job summary
As a Pharmacy Technician you will manage medication systems, supporting GP's, Pharmacists and senior pharmacy technicians. You will be involved in processes for reconciling medicines post-discharge and medicine reauthorisation. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, helping meet quality targets and improving patient understanding of their medications.

Medicines Reconciliation:Reconciling patient medicines after hospital discharge or care changes. Patient Support:Answering medication-related queries, providing advice, and supporting self-management. Audits & Quality:Preparing for audits, contributing to Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) targets or other projects set by the Integrated Care Board (ICB or Primary Care Network (PCN), and improving prescribing safety. Team Collaboration:Working with GPs, Pharmacists, Senior Pharmacy technicians, a Medicines manager and admin staff to streamline workflows and improve patient care.

Our well run and friendly practice provides medical services to approximately 16000 registered patients working from modern purpose built and air conditioned premises in Harrogate. You will join our existing pharmacy team comprising two clinical pharmcists, two senior pharmacy technicians, a medicines manager and members of our care coordinator team who process repeat prescription requests.

Qualifications Essential
Qualifications:NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Technician qualification (or equivalent), with GCSEs in English, Maths, and Science. Skills:Excellent communication, accuracy, attention to detail, IT proficiency (Microsoft Office), confidentiality, and organisational skills. Knowledge:Previous experience in GP Practice preferred.
