Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Physiotherapist to join our supportive and friendly team based at The Den our purpose built children's centre at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
The team provides Specialist Physiotherapy Services to children with Neurodevelopmental conditions, age 0-18 years, across North Derbyshire.
The role is predominantly clinic based but you will gain experience across a range of clinical areas.
You will assist with Developmental Coordination Disorder and CPIP's clinics and support audit and patient feedback projects.
The role demands excellent team working, time keeping and communication skills.
This post would be ideal for a Physiotherapist with relevant pre or post graduate experience and a passion for working with children and their families.

Main duties of the job
To work as part of the Children's Physiotherapy service to provide assessment, treatment and therapy advice to children and young people with physical disabilities To be responsible for the management of a designated caseload under the supervision and mentoring of a senior clinician.
To Work in outpatient clinic settings but undertake home, nursery and school visits if required
To assist senior colleagues with Physiotherapy interventions in Special Schools if required
To work collaboratively with multiagency colleagues and other professionals within and beyond the trust to provide co-ordinate care to best meet the needs of the child.
To present a professional image and promoting a positive image of the Trust to service users, carers and the community as a whole.
