Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for aSupport Officer based within the Clinical Delivery.This is a3-month secondment- 37.5 hours, base to be discussed on appointment.
The successful applicant will provide comprehensive administrative support to senior leadership, coordinate diaries, meetings, documentation, and communication across the service. Handle sensitive and confidential information in line with information governance standards. Use Microsoft Office confidently and learn bespoke NHS systems, support colleagues across the team and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for managing the efficient delivery of all Clinical Delivery administrative functions, and provision of an effective, professional, and confidential managerial support function to the Clinical Delivery Managerial Team. Responsible for managing and prioritising their own workload, the post-holder will co-ordinate Senior Managers diaries, together with on-site services, estates, and facilities, on a day-to-day basis.

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides 24 hour, 365 days a year accident and emergency services to those in need of emergency medical treatment and transport.
Our highly skilled staff provide life-saving care to patients in the community and take people to hospital or a place of care if needed.We also provide non-emergency patient transport services for those patients who require non-emergency transport to and from hospital and who are unable to travel unaided because of their medical condition or clinical need.
Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.
We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Qualification and Knowledge Essential
RSA 111 or equivalent European Computer Driving License or BTEC/NVQ in computer studies/Business or equivalent knowledge and experience Evidence of further qualifications in computer applications, secretarial skills or general administration, in particular Minute taking and/or AMSPAR qualification
Experience Essential
Significant demonstrable experience in an administrative post supporting at senior level Experience of handling confidential issues with sensitivity Experience/competence in organizing, attending meetings, and minute taking Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Visio Good command of the English language Good standard of literacy Experience of Administration or secretarial support at Senior Management/Director Level
