Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Reception Supervisor to join our busy and friendly GP practice.
This is a key leadership role where you will oversee the reception team, ensuring high-quality patient service and smooth day-to-day operations within the practice.
You will act as the central point of contact for patients, supporting both clinical and administrative teams while maintaining an efficient, professional, and compassionate front-of-house service.
Main duties of the job
Supervise and support the reception team, ensuring high standards of performance Support staff training, development, and rota planning Ensure confidentiality and compliance with practice policies Support practice management with service improvements and patient engagement Answering phone calls to respond to patient queries and managing appointments Handling incoming patient emails Ensuring all relevant correspondence is scanned and saved accurately into patient files on EMIS Assist in data collection for practice performance indicators. Ad hoc administration tasks
