We are hiring an experienced Security Site Supervisor for contract assignments in the Savannah, Georgia area. The Site Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of security officers assigned to transportation facilities, ensuring professional standards, post coverage, and client expectations are consistently met.
This is a leadership role requiring strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to manage personnel while maintaining an active security presence. The ideal candidate leads by example and takes ownership of operations at their assigned site.
Responsibilities include:
Supervise and provide daily direction to security officers assigned to the siteEnsure all posts are covered and officers are on time, in uniform, and performing their dutiesServe as the primary point of contact between the company and the client on siteConduct regular site walkthroughs and monitor officer activity throughout the shiftAddress officer performance issues and document incidents, violations, and corrective actionsComplete and review Daily Activity Reports (DAR) and ensure accurate shift documentationCommunicate post updates, policy changes, and directives to officers in a timely mannerRespond to and manage incidents, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency personnel as neededReport operational concerns and staffing issues to the chain of commandResponsible for conducting on-site training and refresher training for assigned officersEnforce facility rules, post orders, and company policies consistently and professionallyAssist with onboarding and orientation of new officers at the siteRequirements
High school diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years of security experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role in any fieldMust be at least 21 years of ageValid government-issued IDReliable transportationStrong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skillsAbility to write clear and accurate incident and activity reportsProfessional appearance and demeanor at all timesMust pass a background check and pre-employment drug screeningThe following qualifications are preferred but not required. Georgia Security Officer License (Blue Card)24-Hour Basic Security Officer Training CertificateCPR / First Aid / AED CertificationOC Spray CertificationPrior law enforcement, security, and/or military experienceEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening
Benefits
Pay: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour
Shifts available: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM
