Position: Quality Supervisor
Location: Lansing, MI
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annually
Overview:
Quick Hire Staffing is seeking a dedicated Quality Supervisor to lead and manage quality assurance activities, ensuring products and processes meet established standards and client expectations. The ideal candidate will foster a culture of continuous improvement and uphold compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily quality assurance operations and team members.Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures.Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.Analyze quality data and prepare detailed reports for management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues promptly.Lead audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.Train, mentor, and develop quality assurance staff to achieve departmental goals.Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to maintain strong relationships.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in quality management systems and relevant software tools.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and commitment to quality excellence.Requirements
Work Experience:
3+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control roles, with supervisory experience preferred.Experience in leading quality teams and managing quality systems.Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, technical degree, engineering background preferred, but not required. Certifications:
Certifications such as Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, or equivalent are a plus.Benefits
