About this role
Clinicians directly serve the USF community through the ethical practice of culturally responsive, theoretically grounded and evidenced-based individual and group therapies, crisis intervention, and mental health consultation and prevention activities. Additionally, this position has the opportunity to be involved in providing training and supervision for the Center's training programs. This clinician will serve in an embedded role for USF's College of Nursing (CON), provide clinical services on-site in this specific program area, and establish designated liaisons within CON, consistent with their training and expertise. Clinicians participate in the development of Center policy and programs and represent the Center to the USF community and at local, state, and national professional forums. Considered essential staff, this position is responsive to the mental health needs of students during and following critical events such as severe weather incidents or campus emergencies.
