Capacity Planner is responsible for analyzing, forecasting, and managing operational capacities across departments to ensure efficiency and alignment with business goals. Typical duties include: Conducting capacity analysis to determine current and future resource needs, including staffing, production, and inventory levels. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data on demand forecasts and resource utilization. Developing and maintaining capacity planning models, tools, and databases to optimize operations. Monitoring performance metrics and recommending adjustments to improve efficiency. Identifying potential bottlenecks and developing mitigation strategies. Preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders. Supporting projects such as system implementations, process improvements, or data center consolidations in IT-focused roles.
