QualificationsYou may qualify at the GS-12, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service: Reviewing, analyzing, and advising senior officials on national, DOW, Service, and Component commanders' strategic directives and guidance to facilitate comprehensive programmatic assessments. Providing qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify programmatic vulnerabilities, evaluate effectiveness, and support assessment initiatives. Developing performance metrics and collaborating with counterparts to facilitate reviews and ensure program evaluations are consistent and integrated. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Major DutiesAs a PROGRAM ANALYST at the GS-0343-12 some of your typical work assignments may include: Coordinates through USTRANSCOM with Office of the Secretary of War, Joint Staff, unified commands, component commands, and governmental agencies to further initiatives, programs, policies, and plans which enhance Joint Enabling Capabilities Command (JECC) support to the nation's war fighters. Reviews and analyzes high-level strategic directives, plans, and guidance to determine operational impacts, ensuring alignment from the strategic to the tactical level to facilitate comprehensive programmatic assessments and updates. Maintains continuous liaison with USTRANSCOM to collaborate on strategic assessments, share analytical methodologies, and ensure program evaluations are consistent and integrated. Applies qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to lead assessment initiatives, developing key metrics to evaluate program effectiveness, identify vulnerabilities, and advise leadership on mitigation strategies. Prepare and deliver presentations on JECC accomplishments, problems, requirements for support, and promotion of program objectives. Facilitates and coordinates JECC organizational themes to inform JECC outreach products and programmatic narrative.
