DDI (DNS, DHCP & IPAM) Subject Matter Expert:

We are seeking an experienced DDI (DNS, DHCP & IPAM) Engineer to support the implementation, administration and optimisation of enterprise-scale DDI platforms within a complex banking environment.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day engineering, maintenance and support of DNS, DHCP and IPAM services, ensuring high availability, performance and security across critical infrastructure. Working closely with architecture, network and security teams, you will contribute to infrastructure projects, platform upgrades and operational improvements.

This role is ideal for a hands-on DDI specialist with strong technical expertise and experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:

• Infrastructure Projects: Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing, and supporting large-scale DDI infrastructure projects, including both physical (servers, appliances) and logical (software versions, product changes, data migrations) upgrades and migrations. • Design and Deployment: Expertise in designing, deploying, and operationalizing DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) infrastructure across new environments, ensuring a consumable and scalable service for internal stakeholders. • Risk Management: Solid understanding of risk assessment and management, including the ability to address headwind challenges and assess downstream user or service impacts. • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work constructively and collaboratively within a team as well as independently, across time zones, geographies, and languages. Proficiency in English is essential. • Project Management: Understanding of industry-standard project management methodologies, tooling, and governance, with a proven track record of planning, documenting, and managing infrastructure project implementations. • Technical Expertise: Must have expert-level engineering experience with DDI technologies such as Cygna VitalQIP, AMS & AMM's, EfficientIP, Infoblox, and F5 BIG-IP DNS. • Network Protocols: Experience with network protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, and DNS. • Automation and Scripting: Familiarity with automation and scripting language­­­­‑‑s (shell, Ansible, VBA, Python, JavaScript, JSON, API integration or development) is advantageous but not mandatory. • Agile Experience: Experience working in an Agile team, participating in agile ceremonies, and a working knowledge of JIRA is beneficial.

Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:

• Proven experience as a DDI Engineer, Network Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer with a focus on DNS, DHCP and IPAM technologies. • Strong hands-on experience administering DDI platforms such as Cygna VitalQIP, EfficientIP, Infoblox or F5 BIG-IP DNS. • Experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise-scale DNS, DHCP and IPAM environments. • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and core networking principles. • Experience performing infrastructure upgrades, migrations and operational support activities. • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues within business-critical environments. • Experience with automation and scripting technologies such as Ansible, Python, PowerShell or API integrations is advantageous. • Experience working within ITIL and change-controlled environments. • Previous experience within Banking, Financial Services or other regulated enterprise environments is preferred. • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams and stakeholders.
