Job SummaryYou will serve as an Acquisition Program Specialist in the Fleet Readiness Center Aviation Support Equipment Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC).

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following duties: 1.) Planning, coordinating, and executing complex acquisition and procurement activities to support aviation equipment maintenance and readiness;2.) Providing enterprise-level oversight for multiple acquisition programs, including contract development, execution, and administration3.) Analyzing financial, contractual, and operational data to assess program risk and recommend corrective actions; 4.) Overseeing contract funding, evaluating contractor performance, and ensuring compliance with regulations such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR); and 5.) Serving as the principal acquisition advisor to FRCASE leadership on matters related to acquisition strategy, financial execution, and program performance. Major DutiesYou will serve as a Senior Acquisition Program Analyst and alternate Contracting Officer's RepresentativeYou will manage the complete lifecycle of acquisition and procurement programs to ensure the operational readiness of the Navy's aviation support equipment.You will manage project priorities, interpret broad guidelines, and exercise independent judgment to resolve complex issues.You will employ analytical and problem-solving techniques to address complex acquisition issues.
