Job SummaryThis position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DOD Cyber Defense Command (DCDC). .

QualificationsIn order to qualify for this position, you must meet the qualifying experience requirements described below. To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. Qualifying experience is described as: experience performing duties such as analyzing program progress and fund utilization; or developing policies for program management and control; or evaluating performance data to formulate corrective actions; or coordinating acquisition plans with stakeholders. Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume. All qualifications must be met within 30 days after the closing date of this announcement.

Major DutiesDevelops and implements new program assessment techniques, metrics, and procedures to enable consistent program review and assessment across a diverse project portfolio.Coordinates with senior management and customers to formulate and review acquisition plans, milestones, schedules, and resource requirement determinations for various programs.Analyzes a wide range of programmatic data, including funding, contracts, and schedules, to identify potential problems and formulate corrective or improvement actions.Develops and interprets policies, procedures, and methods for the administrative management and control of assigned programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Evaluates the progress of implementing master plans, objectives, and fund utilization, analyzing deviations and identifying the basis for delays, slippages, and overruns.
