QualificationsGS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience identifying, analyzing, and resolving budget estimates. Experience processing budget requests, managing controls, and reporting of obligations and expenditures. Experience formulating budget and cost estimates to support organizational plans, programs, and activities. Experience reconciling accounting data, preparing reports, and maintaining documents in electronic files for easy retrieval. Experience using automated systems such as financial systems and platforms, management information systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.) to extract information. GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience using automated systems such as financial and management information systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access to extract information, compile and consolidate data. Experience assisting in the preparation of financial reports, budget formulations and estimates. Experience maintaining documents in electronic files for easy retrieval. Experience performing administrative work in connection with accounting systems. Major DutiesYou will assist in the performance of functions such as budget formulation and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities; review and budget request, controls and reporting of obligation and expenditures of one or more fund types.You will perform account maintenance and accounting support work requiring basic understanding of accounting systems, policies, and procedures to examine, verify and maintain and reconcile accounting data, and prepare reports.You will compile, consolidate data from source documents, system records, and reports for use in preparing budget estimates and for record keeping in support of audit readiness.You will perform and navigate through multiple financial systems and platforms to perform day-to-day and basic functions within the systems (Navy ERP and General Funds Enterprise Business Systems).You will review execution of assigned department activities on a regular basis to include monitoring obligations and expenditures throughout the life cycle of each appropriation.You will perform routine funds execution of command's total obligation authority by reviewing subordinate funding documents prior to approving funding requests.
