Job SummaryTHIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a Logistics Management Specialist, Position Description Number D1178P01 and is part of the CO JFHQ G4, National Guard. The purpose of this position is to function as the logistics manager of the organization and to serve as the organizational Property Book Officer (PBO) responsible for routine accomplishment and oversight of property accountability functions.

QualificationsMilitary Grades: E-4 thru E-8 1. Specialized experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. 2. Experience involving knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support. 2. Experience integrating actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to meet program goals. 3. Experience working with people from various levels and backgrounds to elicit their cooperation to perform specific tasks and comply with regulations, laws, or practices. 4. Experience which involved detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities). 5. Experience planning and organizing work assignments. Preferred Experience: - GCSS­A, DST, GFEBS access - 92Y/company level supply experience

Major DutiesDevelops, implements and evaluates the logistics and property accountability policies for the organization. Responsible for the property book operations of the organization in the areas of inventory management, storage management, equipment coordination and supply management. Maintains property book accountability utilizing an automated system and/or related computer programs to account for property. Ensures compliance with the command supply discipline program (CSDP), and other directed command inspection programs. Coordinates with the USPFO, state level Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) and subordinate units of the organization on the lateral transfer and/or turn in of excess property. Establishes quality procedures and oversees the edit of all source documentation. Provides guidance and funds management for all decentralized logistics funds. May be required to represent the National Guard and the unit Commander in the community. Supervises subordinates performing supply work. Provides technical guidance and assistance to all organizational logistic individuals pertaining to the accountability of all property assigned to the organization. Performs other duties as assigned.
