We, the Human Resources Office, are looking for a seasoned Employee Engagement/Relations professional to lead and advance the development of employee strategies of the University. The role operates in a dynamic university environment supporting a staff population of around 4,000, requiring both strategic vision and strong execution capability.

Responsibilities:
• Leading the formulation and execution of full-spectrum Employee Engagement strategies, including ESR and ED&I policies and employee wellness; • Driving engagement strategies that support institutional goals in sustainability, diversity and inclusion, and employee experience and culture; • Overseeing major employee engagement initiatives and events for a staff population of around 4,000, including long service awards, retirement appreciation, performance recognition schemes, award ceremonies and orientation programmes; • Leading and coaching a lean, high-performing team to deliver strategic HR outcomes with strong impact; • Providing oversight on employee recognition, communications and engagement campaigns; • Handling and advising on equal opportunity related matters and employee relations issues; and • Contributing to corporate HR and Organisation Development projects at a strategic level.
Requirements:
• A recognised university degree, preferably in Human Resources, Psychology or related disciplines; • At least 10 years of relevant HR experience, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership capacity; • Proven track record in developing and implementing employee engagement strategies in sizable organisations; • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with institutional priorities; • Demonstrated experience in leading lean, direct reporting teams and delivering high-impact outcomes; • Strong passion for employee engagement and employee relations management; and • Excellent spoken and written communication and interpersonal skills.
