Job SummaryAbout the Position: This position is located at US Army Cadet Command, 3rd Brigade, University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA. This position is a TERM Not to Exceed 13 months position. It is time-limited and may be extended up to a maximum of eight years.

QualificationsWho May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which include 1) Ensuring record management files are properly maintained; 2) Following procedures to inspect supplies or equipment for discrepancies; 3) Operating automated word processing equipment with hardware and software components to prepare a variety of materials such as correspondence, forms, reports, etc.; 4) Maintaining property book in accordance with applicable regulations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06)

Major DutiesProvides staff assistance in all areas of supply and logistics management for the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Program and affiliates within the Task Force structure.Forecasts, requests and manages the Operations and Maintenance, Army (OMA) and Military Personnel, Army (MPA) budgets for the host program and affiliates within the task force structure.Accounts for property and manages various classes of supplies at the host and affiliated programs.Utilizes various automated computer/software applications to prepare documents involving supply transactions, management reports and logistics.
