A qualified candidate must possess the following: Experience in marketing and/or advertising Knowledge of the WWW system Knowledge of private enterprise technological processes for developing and utilizing social networking for e-commerce purposes Demonstrate ability to graphically design and launch an interactive website utilizing current technologies and trends Demonstrate ability in graphic design and web design must be submitted with application Must posses organizational skills and be able to work quickly in an e-commerce environment Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently Must be able to work under pressure to meet project deadlines and specific tasks Must be self motivated and have strong problem solving skills Must have strong communication skills **Your resume should be clear and specific. Assumptions will not be made regarding your experience and the duties performed ** In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered Highly Preferred: **To meet Highly Preferred eligibility, you must meet all Minimum and Highly Preferred Qualifications, and this information must be clearly detailed on your resume.** Experience in hospitality Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field Experience in Marketing for Family and MWR programs Experience using Adobe Creative Suite Understanding of and involvement with building marketing campaigns Experience with public speaking *Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official. All other applicants will be referred for consideration if the certificate (referral list) is returned with no selection.

Major DutiesSpecializes in the development and the maintenance of the Family and MWR website. E-marketing campaigns (e-newsletters, social media, www marketing, etc.), and data collection and reporting (guest surveys, database management, etc.).Works closely with supervisor, managers and officials, marketing staff, and IT specialists in applying and implementing electronic commerce (e-commerce) initiatives for the purpose of marketing programs and services on-line.Contributes graphic design, programming, and support to on-site multi media marketing efforts including, digital signs and video marketing initiatives. Evaluates user requirements and advises on design capabilities and maintenance responsibilities.Establishes return of investment (ROI) measures for e-marketing initiatives and reports results as required. Support other marketing initiatives as required. Implements marketing approaches to improve business opportunities.Provides advice to decision makers in setting goals and establishing priorities to support the organizational mission. Studies customer requirements, translates into marketing strategies, designs and recommends format changes.
