Highly qualifying criteria: Possess work experience as a research assistant/specialist/analyst/manager/analyst, biostatistician, data analyst, business analyst, mathematician, actuary or similar demonstratable in your resume. Possess a Master's degree in Operations Research, Business Administration, Economics, Sociology, Statistics, Psychology, Demography, Engineering, Mathematics, Political Science, or Actuarial Science All answers to the Highly Qualifying Criteria must be demonstrated in your resume to get credit.
Major DutiesServes as a junior analyst at the IMCOM Headquarters level performing a variety of analytical duties for one or more program areas. Assists supervisor or senior program analyst in the administration of processes and analytical support associated with assigned program areas. Determines data required for analysis and devises appropriate methods for securing required information from sources such as reports, surveys, on-site investigations, discussions with officials, statutes, policies, plans, schedules, etc. Analyzes issues, selects and applies accepted analytical techniques. Develops initial conclusions and recommendations for problems analyzed for submission to senior analyst or supervisor. May oversee operating procedures for a variety of administrative and/or program support functions.
