As a Senior Compass Developer, you will play a vital role in our team, driving the development and configuration of insurance policy masters within the Compass platform. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing our applications, modules, and workflows, ensuring they meet the highest standards. With a strong background in Oracle-based applications, including Oracle Forms, Reports, and PL/SQL, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our systems.
• Lead the development and configuration of insurance policy masters on the Compass platform. • Collaborate closely with business teams to understand their requirements and translate them into technical designs. • Configure, customize, and extend Compass features using approved frameworks and tools, ensuring a seamless user experience. • Build robust integrations with external systems using APIs, web services, or data connectors, enabling efficient data exchange. • Troubleshoot and optimize Compass applications to enhance performance and reliability, ensuring a smooth user journey. • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Refinement, and Reviews, fostering a collaborative environment. • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs, API specifications, deployment guides, and user instructions, ensuring knowledge sharing. • Ensure that all solutions adhere to security protocols, governance policies, and organizational coding standards, maintaining data integrity.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Compass development, configuration, and application enhancement. • Expertise in Oracle-based applications, including Oracle Forms, Reports, and PL/SQL, is essential. • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and a proven track record of successful Agile project delivery. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Experience with API development and integration, ensuring seamless data exchange between systems. • Proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing applications for performance and reliability. • Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation, ensuring knowledge transfer and ease of use. • Familiarity with security protocols and governance policies, ensuring compliance with organizational standards. • A proactive and analytical mindset, with a problem-solving approach to complex technical challenges.
