Market Range: 08 Hiring Salary: $21.69/Hourly THIS IS A GRANT-FUNDED POSITION FUNDED UNTIL JANUARY 31, 2027 JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Research Study Coordinator 1 works with The Cowan Lab in the Department of Psychiatry on an institution-funded grant examining pain experience in individuals with substance misuse.
• Recruits research participants via cold-calling, emails, presentations, etc. • Performs data collection, administration of psychophysics, surveys, and collects biological samples; assists in data integrity. • Assists in gift card compensation, regulatory documentation, and other aspects of data collection, storage, and processing, per sponsor and site-specific protocols. • Assists in all phases of data collection, data management, and regulatory processes. • Assumes responsibility for documentation compilation and reporting of quality checks on data to the Principal Investigator (PI). • Maintains regulatory documentation from all participating institutions. • Performs extraction and analysis of data, including psychophysical data, clinical and demographic data, and statistical analyses. • Assists the principal investigator with the publication of data, grant and manuscript writing, and preparation of proposals. • Monitors lab inventory and orders supplies as needed. • Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field of study. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED) EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of research experience. Must have a valid Driver’s License and a personal vehicle is required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
