This is a hands-on, fast-paced role ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn and grow. You’ll work closely with the Content Producer and marketing team to capture and produce video, photography, and other content that showcases our stores, teams, and products—helping bring the KENT brand to life across Atlantic Canada. You’ll play a key role in executing content ideas and building your skills while contributing to work that is practical, relevant, and aligned with KENT’s brand.
• Support the creation and delivery of content across social media, website, email, and in-store marketing
• Capture video and photography that highlights products, projects, promotions, and people
• Produce video content, including shooting, editing and post-production tasks
• Support marketing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal initiatives with timely content
• Help coordinate and prepare for content shoots, including equipment and on-site setup
• Travel to stores across Atlantic Canada to capture authentic, on-the-ground content
• Ensure content aligns with KENT’s brand standards and voice
• Review and refine content with guidance from the Content Producer
• Stay current with content trends, tools, and formats to build skills and bring fresh ideas
• Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience creating video content (internships, freelance, or professional experience considered)
• Hands-on experience or strong interest in video production, photography, and editing
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom); experience with After Effects is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools and techniques
• Advanced understanding of social media and digital content formats
• Ability to manage time and support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in home improvement, DIY, or retail is considered an asset
• Bilingualism (French/English) is considered an asset
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
