Posted to create a candidate pool for the 2026-27 School Year. Intervention Counselors provide school-based mental health services to students who require either targeted or intensive assistance in building behavioral and/or social emotional skills. Intervention Counselors run small-groups and provide individual services using evidence-and-research based programs. Intervention Counselors may lead and support crisis response teams in their buildings as well as schools across the district. They are trained in and use restorative practices, lead suicide prevention efforts, and serve as a key resource for behavioral and social emotional programming as part of a multi-tiered system of support. Persons in this role will not carry a specific student caseload but will provide services based on student needs identified by academic, attendance, disciplinary, and other data sources. Intervention Counselors use strong organizational and analytical skills to track and monitor data regarding the ef
