About this role
We are an opportunity for an Advanced Systems Engineer to join us at Honeywell Aerospace in Krakow. You will become a part of the Flight Management Systems (FMS) team that designs, develops, and integrates a flight management systems for major customer in the field of civil aerospace, allowing you to develop knowledge in an exciting industry segment.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

• Requirements analysis and decomposition • Systems Engineering processes knowledge • Be part of the Integration, systems Validation & Verification • Interact with global internal and external customers. • Work with test bench in the laboratory
• Background in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related • 5 years’ experience in Systems Engineering domain, experience with Aerospace sector is a huge advantage. • Experience scripting in Python, requirements management tools (DOORS, etc.) • Fluent command of English language • Knowledge of software development lifecycle in agile environment and best practices, experience with system level qualification and testing • Self-motivation and ability to work with little supervision, consistent taking the initiative to get things done • The following is considered as advantageous: knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g. DO-160, DO-254, DO-178) and aircraft system guidelines (ARP4754A, ARP4761, etc.) Please note that due to export restrictions, we will only be able to take into consideration applicants with an EU citizenship.
